Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna have reached a custody agreement. The settlement comes more than three years after the celebrity parents initially made strives towards a viable custody arrangement.
According to Us Weekly,
“The terms that they agreed to include sharing physical custody of their 4-year-old daughter across an alternating weekly schedule. They additionally agreed to share equal time over holidays and vacations.”
The terms of Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian’s agreement are contingent upon both parties refraining from using drugs or alcohol while caring for their daughter, Dream Kardashian. Such a stipulation is the center of the agreement due to Rob accusing Chyna of being under the influence of alcohol while caring for Dream earlier this year.
The celebrity father requested his ex-fiancee be subjected to regular drug and alcohol tests while she asked the courts to require him to undergo mental health screenings. Rob also requested sole custody of his daughter earlier this year. Such a petition was ultimately denied by the courts.
Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian have experienced their share of fights in the spotlight. Still, the celebrity parents continue to work towards harmoniously co-parenting their daughter.
“The key [to coparenting] is basically communication,” Blac Chyna said during an interview last year. “It makes it a little bit easier if you can communicate with your child’s other parent,” the celebrity mom added. “That’s the best and healthiest way.”
