What a difference a year makes! Just last year, Evie Murphy was photographed as a baby with her grandpa, Eddie Murphy. This year, the tiny tot wore matching green pajamas with her parents as she posed for pictures.
“Merry Christmas from my little family to yours,” Evie’s mom, Carly Olivia Fink, captioned under the photo.
In a video clip, Evie gets ready to open her Christmas presents as her dad, Miles Murphy, and mom watch on.
Evie Murphy was born on July 2, 2019 and is Eddie Murphy’s first grandchild.
“The Murphy family has a great sense of humor,” Eddie said during an interview in 2019 on LIVE With Kelly and Ryan. “I have a 5-month-old grandchild and a 10-month-old son. That makes me a heck of a fella,” the veteran actor and comedian mused. “My son is my granddaughter’s uncle,” he added.
Although he is a grandfather, Eddie Murphy does not want to be called a grandfather by his granddaughter. “Granddad or granddaddy just doesn’t sound or feel right,” the celebrity father revealed. “Pa-Pa is nice,” Murphy added.
The actor/comedian has 10 kids with five different women. His children, who range from ages one to 30-years-old, are Eric, Christian, Bria, Miles, Shayne, Zola, Bella, Angel, Izzy and Max Murphy.
Eddie and ex-wife Nicole Mitchell-Murphy were together for 13 years before divorcing, and they have five of Eddie’s 10 children together: Bria, Miles, Shayne, Zola and Bella Murphy. Eddie Murphy had his two eldest sons in previous relationships before dating Nicole Mitchell: 30-year old Eric Murphy with Paulette McNeely and 29-year-old Christian Murphy with Tamara Hood.
