Christmas Day 2020 is unquestionably going to be different from years past. As many families would usually head to the movie theater after opening presents, with the ongoing pandemic, that may not be possible as the majority of movie theaters are closed in not only the United States, but in other parts of the world.
Movie Studios have made sure that the Christmas tradition can continue, albeit at home in font of the television screen. So, pop some popcorn, sit back, and relax because here are some releases that you and the entire family will be able to stream on Christmas Day.
1. Soul (Stream on Disney+)
The latest movie from Disney’s Pixar, Soul, starring Jamie Foxx, in the role of Joe Gardner, will definitely go down among the best in animation history. The story follows Gardner, a middle-school band teacher who finally gets the chance to play at New York City’s best jazz club. However, an accident kills off Gardner, and his soul is sent to The Great Before, where new souls are created before they head to Earth. Joe has to figure out how his soul can get back to his body. In the process, he learns about his own life.
2. We Can Be Heroes (Stream on Netflix)
This superhero sequel will debut on Christmas Day. We Can Be Heroes is the sequel to 2005’s The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl. This sequel follows the superheroes who are now all grown up and have kids of their own. With aliens afoot, they kidnap the adults and it is up to the children to save them.
3.Wonder Woman 1984 (HBO Max)
The long-awaited sequel to the 2017 DC Comics superhero film will debut on HBO Max. Gal Gadot will return to the screen as Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman 1984 takes place in the 80s and follows the superhero as she battles all sorts of evil, including the Cheetah.

4. Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey (Stream on Netflix)
Released in November 2020, Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey, tells the story ofa toymaker and his granddaughter who are planning to build a magical invention. This machine can change the life of many people. Some of the cast members of the movie are Forest Whitaker, Madalen Mills, Keegan-Michael Key and more.
5. Klaus (Stream on Netflix)
This amazing animated film follows the story of a postman who befriends a toymaker named Klaus.
