If you haven’t heard of the Qai Qai Doll, then you definitely need to listen up. What started out as an animated concept by tennis legend Serena Williams, inspired by her daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian, has turned into one of the most coveted dolls on the market.
Having debuted as the number one release a few weeks ago on the kids’ toys on Amazon list, the Qai Qai doll has her own Instagram page that boasts over 150K followers. This doll is unquestionably a definite must-have for Christmas and beyond.
“❤️❤️❤️ I got my doll today!!!” One user gleefully wrote on Qai Qai’s official Instagram page.
One IG user wrote, “How cute is that 😂😂😂.”
“You need your own stage @realqaiqai,” one follower confirmed what everyone is thinking.
And of course, Olympia gets excited to see other kids enjoying Qai Qai too as she never leaves home without hers.
“That’s my friend,” Olympia said while watching “a compilation video” of the dolls with “their new families.” The adorable three-year-old continued, “I have Qai Qai,” Olympia observed. Her father, Alexis Ohanian replied, “now all of these other little kids do, too!”
“When we started telling Qai Qai’s story on social media, we weren’t sure how people would respond, but it became obvious very quickly that a lot of parents could relate with how much Qai Qai means to our daughter,” Williams told Shop TODAY in an email interview. “We wanted to be able to share that same joy with others, so we decided to bring her to life!”
The doll stands just under 15 inches tall, wears a “GOAT” onesie and a six-layered pink and purple ruffled tutu. Qai Qai doesn’t only have an impressive Instagram follower, you can also find her on Twitter and Tik Tok @RealQaiQai on both.
In addition to overseeing smiles on the faces of fellow Qai Qai doll fans everywhere, Alexis Olympia is also a Bitcoin expert. Check out the adorable video below where she gives her dad expert investment advice.
