Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert’s daughter. Junie, is 5-years-old today! The youngster’s parents took to social media to give her well wishes.
“To our firstborn,” Iman wrote online. “Sure, you look a lot like your mother, but every year I watch you become more and more your own person,” Shumpert shared. “You are the glue to us all make no mistake about it,” the celebrity father added.
“So beautiful, so pure, so excited for your next day! Since we can’t slow the time down just know we are here to protect you and guide you thru this life for as long as you need. May the world continue to shine a light on you, may you never feel you are not worthy. I love you baby girl, happy birthday! You’re 5 years old!”
Iman Shumpert and Teyana Taylor welcomed Junie on December 16, 2015. The couple’s firstborn made a surprise entrance in the bathroom of their family home. Junie started a sort of family trend with her arrival as Teyana and Iman held their wedding ceremony in her birth spot. Teyana also gave birth to Junie’s little sister, Rue Rose, in the family’s bathroom earlier this year.
“This girl never ceases to amaze me,” Teyana Taylor said days before Junie’s fifth birthday. “I love me some her,” the celebrity mom doted. “Mommy’s big girl will be 5 very soon,” Taylor noted at the time. “Can y’all tell Junie to stop growing so fast on me,” the celebrity mom jokingly asked.
