Monica says she and her daughter, Laiyah Brown, have a new venture in the works. The recording artist recently took to Instagram with the announcement.

“Give your children’s ideas wings so that they can fly,” Monica wrote online. “Baby Girl is becoming the queen of the straight face,” the recording artist said of her daughter. “I guess @laiyah (Lil Miss Thang) means business! New Things coming.”

Monica did not specify what “new things” she and Laiyah had in store. It may not be too far-fetched, though, to assume that the new ventures either have to do with show business or sports. Monica revealed her daughter’s passion for gymnastics, modeling, and acting in a separate Instagram post.
