Grown-ish fans rejoice because the hit Freeform television show is coming back in January!
Yara Shahidi, who stars in the series as Zoey, revealed the exciting news in a video that she posted on Instagram.
“✨HEEYYY SWIPE FOR BIG NEWS ✨ see y’all in January 👀 #Grownish,” she captioned the two clips.
And of course, fans are waiting with bated breath for the new season to start.
“💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾 Zoey~ Grownish is coming back!!!!!!!! So freaking EXCITED!!!!! I’ve been waiting too long!!!😂🤣,” one user wrote.
Another wrote, “Cuz u KNOW we been waiting‼️”
And one fan wants to make sure that they is more than ready and all caught up before the new season kicks-off, “Yesss right in the middle of my rewatch!”

So, what can viewers expect for the upcoming season? Well, season three will follow the Cal U gang as they navigate the second half of junior year, preparing to enter the real world as bonified adults. Zoey begins to question her decisions after dropping out of school to focus on her fashion career. She starts to wonder if life outside of Cal U is all the rage or if she herself still has some true growing-up to do.
