G Herbo’s lawyer confirmed in court today that the rapper’s fiancée Taina Williams is four months pregnant. Herbo was in court to face federal fraud charges alleging he and five members of his crew used stolen identities to make fraudulent charges for extravagant services.

Herbo, whose real name is Herbert Wright III, pleaded not guilty via a videoconference Wednesday to the federal charges:
Wright’s lawyer, meanwhile, revealed during the 30-minute hearing that Wright’s fiancee, Taina Williams, is four months pregnant and asked that he be allowed to travel to New Jersey to visit her and their new baby. U.S. Magistrate Judge Katherine Robertson granted the request. Prosecutors also identified one of the witnesses in the case as an Atlanta woman with whom Wright shares a child from a prior relationship. Wright was ordered not to speak with her about the case.
Wright, who grew up in the South Side neighborhood known as “Terror Town,” faces up to about six years in prison if he’s convicted at trial, though there could be later enhancements given his criminal history, which includes a weapons conviction in Cook County, Assistant U.S. Attorney Steven Breslow told the magistrate judge in Springfield. The Atlanta woman in question is Herbo’s son’s mother, Ari Fletcher. The former couple have a son named Yosohn Wright together.
