Kim Kardashian has launched a new line of her SKIMS sets made especially for kids. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians (KUWTK) star shared the exciting news about her SKIMS kids line on Monday (Nov. 16) with her oldest daughter, North West, by her side.
“The drop you’ve been waiting for,” Kim told her social media fans. “NEW @SKIMS Cozy styles and our first-ever sets for KIDS,” the KUWTK star exclaimed.
Kim uploaded candids from her latest photoshoot that featured her and North wearing matching SKIMS attire. “Lovely,” one fan wrote in response to seeing a picture of the mother-daughter duo. “So cute,” another social media follower said.
North West has served as the test model for the new SKIMS kids line since last year. The youngster wore a piece from the collection to her dad Kanye West’s Sunday Service at Lincoln Center last December. Kim did not directly respond to speculation of her launching a SKIMS line for kids after the news spread of North wearing apparel from her mom’s clothing brand. It is now evident, however, that Kim’s daughter was helping her mom with the planning and design of the new collection.
It is certainly no surprise that North is the first kid to showcase the new SKIMS kids line. Kim Kardashian did, after all, tell the press that her daughter knew quite a bit about the brand.
“[North] knows [about SKIMS] because we have bras and underwear and pajamas,” Kardashian shared with the media. “So she sees me in my pajamas and stuff like that, but she’s not really a part of my shapewear things or anything like that,” the celebrity mom said.
How will North West contribute to her mom’s SKIMS clothing brand? Fans will have to keep watching this fashionista-in-the-making to find out. The SKIMS kids collection officially debuts on Thursday, November 19, 2020. Stay tuned for more Keeping Up With The Kardashians family news!
