Solange’s son, Julez Smith, had an eventful birthday at Aunt Beyonce and Uncle Jay-z’ house this past weekend. The youngster shared more pictures from his birthday bash earlier this week.
Julez had a mini photo shoot that featured a classic red Corvette. The youngster also wore apparel that placed his incredible fashion sense on display. Beyonce expressed a desire to get a candid of her nephew with his “Supreme” cake at Julez’s party. As it turns out, Queen Bey got her picture.
It is not often that Beyonce and Jay-Z open up their $88 million Bel-Air mansion for events. Julez’s sixteenth birthday, however, was the exception.
“Beyoncé and Jay wanted to do something special for Julez’s 16th birthday because of everything going on with the pandemic, so they invited the entire family over to their Bel Air home to celebrate the milestone occasion,” an insider revealed when sharing the motivation behind Beyonce and Jay-Z deciding to host their nephew’s party. “Beyonce loves Julez with all her heart and it was important to her for their family to be together,” the source added.
Julez’s party was simple yet big. According to the family friend, “[The party] actually ended up being better than something over the top with a ton of people because it gave them an opportunity to spend quality family time together, just hang out, relax, and not stress over the details or try to impress anyone with putting on an elaborate event.”
Julez Smith turned 16-years-old on October 18, 2020. He is Solange Knowles’ only child with her ex-husband, Daniel Smith Sr. Stay tuned for more celebrity family news!
