Miles Brown is truly one talented young man. Acting, dancing, basketball are some of the talents that he has perfected in his wheelhouse and now he is adding singer to the repertoire with his debut album, “We The Future.”
On the 15-track Hip-Hop album, he has dropped his first visual for the song “Entourage.” In the trap beat song, crafted by Madlib and originally meant for Travis Scott, the Black-ish actor gives a nod to his “entourage” for always being there for him.
“We the Future” embodies all that Brown exhibits-positivity, strong family ties, a fight for injustice, equality, and much more. This first EP for Brown was produced by Madlib, Mic Checkmate, and Deliv. and was released via ACME Music Co.
Yet, the project does call for more. Brown challenges the next generation of leaders to recognize and embrace their collective strength. The title track of the album, released earlier this year, features Damian Lillard, (a.k.a. Dame D.O.L.L.A.).
Damian Lillard, (a.k.a. Dame D.O.L.L.A.), is not the only famous voice you will hear on this project. Many other famous voices and songwiters lend their talents to helping Brown bring the project to fruition. With help from Jidenna, Seidah Garrett, Brown’s dad, Wildchild, Slick Rick, among others, you cannot help but to feel inspired and ready to join Brown in his quest for social justice reform.
Brown has had an amazing career to date and doesn’t look like he is slowing down anytime soon. In addition to his starring role in the hit ABC sitcom Black-ish, he starred in his first feature film in 2019, Boy Genius. He was named as one of the top 30 stars under 18 by The Hollywood Reporter. He has received a Young Artist Award, and several nominations from the NAACP Image Awards and BET Awards. Additionally, he became the first junior NBA correspondent out on the floor.
We cannot wait to see what the future holds for this amazing young man. We know that it is unquestionably going to be bright!
