Amber Rose continues to be an open book for her 7-year-old son, Sebastian Thomaz, when it comes to feminism. The celebrity mom recently spoke with Red Table Talk about the conversations that she initiates with her little one regarding periods and consent.
“He knows everything,” Amber shared. “I’m not hiding nothing (sic) from my son,” the celebrity mom added. “My son knows what a period is,” Rose revealed.
It was just a few months ago that Amber Rose told the press that she walks around her house naked and posts feminine paintings throughout the house in hopes of helping her son realize that women are not objects.

“I teach my son that a woman’s body is not a sexual object,” Amber shared. “It’s human anatomy,” the celebrity mom added. “I have feminine paintings all over the walls [and] pictures of naked women. My son is so used to seeing it, [so] it’s not weird to him.”
A woman’s menstrual cycle is also not “weird” to Sebastian. “[He’ll ask], ‘Mommy, do you have your period?’ I’m like, ‘No, not right now, but I will.’ And he’s like, ‘Do you need a tampon? Do you need a pad?'”
“I say that to say my son who is seven, and I don’t feel like it’s too soon,” Rose shared with the co-hosts of Red Table Talk. “Because once he hits 13 and the girls in his classroom are getting their periods, and the boys are like that’s disgusting, she’s bleeding, he’ll be like, ‘That’s nothing.'”
