Deborah Cox is thankful for her husband, Lascelles Stephens, and kids. The recording artist took to Instagram earlier this week to celebrate her family in honor of Thanksgiving Day in Canada, which was on Monday (Octoer 12).
“What am I thankful for,” Cox asked. “My husband and family,” the celebrity mom said. “[I am] full of gratitude everyday,” Cox concluded.
Deborah Cox is recognized as one of the best vocalists in the music industry. It has been a few years since the celebrity has released an album. Such a fact, however, does not stop fans from asking Cox when she plans to do more projects.
“Why don’t you sing anymore,” one social media follower recently asked. “You were really good,” the fan encouraged. “You see people struggling trying to hit them notes like you. Can we get a post of your own challenge,” the supporter asked. Deborah responded to the fan by telling him that she planned to get back to the music “soon.”
Deborah Cox and Lascelles Stephens have three kids – Kaila, Sumayah, and Isaiah – together. Cox recently advocated for homeschooling in light of the coronavirus pandemic’s lockdowns by telling the press that the experience could be beneficial for parents and children.
“I think a lot of people are going to find that it’s actually helpful,” Cox shared. “The kids get a lot more rest,” the singer explained. “You are able to monitor what they’re learning more, but the pressure is on, you really have to work closely with the teachers.”
