Nicki Minaj’s mom, Carol Maraj, is happy to be a grandmother. Maraj took to social media to celebrate the arrival of her daughter’s child.
“Thank you, Lord, for Blessing my daughter @nickiminaj with a beautiful bundle of joy,” Carol wrote online. “You have always been a Blessing to myself and your family, and now you have received one of the best Blessings from God,” Nicki’s mother shared.
The new grandmother ended her social media post with a scripture passage. “Children are a gift from the Lord. They are a reward from Him,” Carol wrote online. “Let us rejoice,” Maraj told her fans.
Nicki Minaj welcomed her first child with her husband, Kenneth Petty, on Wednesday, September 30, 2020. The ‘Anaconda’ rapper gave birth less than three months after confirming she was expecting a child. Many suspected Nicki was expecting after seeing her music video collaboration with 6ix9ine for ‘TROLLZ.’
“Preggers,” Nicki Minaj said after her showing in the ‘TROLLZ’ music video. “Love. Marriage. Baby carriage. Overflowing with excitement and gratitude,” the rapper added. “Thank you all for the well wishes.”
