Cardi B has reportedly filed for divorce from her husband, Offset, with the request for custody of their 2-year-old daughter, Kulture Cephus, included in the petition.
According to TMZ,
“The rapper filed court docs in Georgia indicating she’s seeking a dissolution of marriage. Cardi is listed as the plaintiff and Offset is listed as the defendant. She filed the paperwork on Tuesday.”
Cardi B and Offset wed in 2017 after he sporadically asked for her hand in marriage and she agreed. The celebrity couple had a private ceremony to solidify their love before filing documentation with Fulton County to make everything legal.
Cardi and Offset separated in 2018 after he was revealed to have a mistress. Offset courted his wife for several months before she decided to give the marriage another chance.

The latest court documents reveal Cardi B and Offset as separated. The ‘I Like It’ rapper also expressed the desire to have primary custody of her and her husband’s daughter, who celebrated her second birthday a few weeks ago. Offset was present for Kulture’s at-home celebration and even surprised his youngest daughter with a Birkin bag valued at more than $8,000.
Cardi B did not state an amount when requesting child support for her and Offset’s daughter. Kulture is the former couple’s only child together. Offset has four kids in all. Stay tuned for more Cardi B divorce news!
