Solange’s son, Julez Smith, enjoyed quality time with his dad, Daniel Smith, in Jay-Z’s hometown earlier this week. Daniel shared the candid of him taking a picture with his son in front of Marcy Houses housing project in Brooklyn’s Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood.
Jay-Z was born in the Brooklyn borough of New York City and was raised in Marcy Houses. The rapper often pays tribute to his hometown in his songs as well as with charity efforts meant to help children living in his old neighborhood.
It may be safe to assume that both Daniel and Julez were at Marcy Houses on Roc Nation business. “Want him to be more than I could ever imagine,” Daniel said of his oldest son.
It was just a few days ago that Daniel Smith shared a sweet picture of Julez with his younger brother, Five Smith. “Oldest and youngest,” Daniel told his social media fans. “Julez and Five,” the celebrity father shared. “Wow,” one fan said. “Julez is so big. I remember the last time I saw him he was a baby.” Time flies!
Tina Lawson knows all too well about time moving quickly. The celebrity grandmother recently shared a video clip of Julez and his mom to help her cope with being away from the family during this quarantine season.
“You can tell when I’ve had enough being away from my kids,” Tina told her social media fans. “I start looking on the Internet for any kind of videos I can find of them,” she said. “Here’s one of Solange and Julez dancing and having fun. Lord, I got to see them soon.”
