Kenya Moore is making the most of quarantine season despite being physically apart from her husband, Marc Daly. The Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) star tells Hearst Black Culture how her family is adjusting to life during the coronavirus quarantine.
“We have been quarantined apart, so that has been difficult in and of itself,” Kenya tells the publication of her relationship with Marc. “But the goal prior to being quarantined is definitely working on our relationship,” the RHOA adds.
“I still have love for Marc,” Moore continues. “Just knowing that if there is a chance, and for him to take our family seriously, and our issues collectively seriously, I would want to do all that for the sake of our family and exhaust all of those resources before I would say I’m done.”
Fans saw a rather ugly side of Marc Daly during Season 12 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta. Kenya’s husband came off as the controlling kind who worked to lower his wife’s self-esteem.
“The Marc that you guys saw on TV I believe was like, you know, an angry Marc,” Kenya tells Hearst Black Culture. “He didn’t want to be there,” the RHOA star continues.
“I think that he had some resentment,” Kenya further explains. “It’s a little heartbreaking to see that we are in this situation and we just had our third-year anniversary last week and we weren’t able to spend it together.”
Marc Daly is working to maintain his restaurant in New York City while Kenya Moore builds her empire from home in Atlanta. Still, even with the challenges that come with separation, Marc and Kenya make it possible for their daughter, Brooklyn Daly, to enjoy the best of both worlds with quality time spent with both mom and dad.
