Although Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson broke up after two separate cheating scandals, the pair are on good terms and they actively co-parent their 2-year-old daughter True Thompson. In a recent interview with Daily Pop, Khloe earnestly spoke of her partnership with Thompson and noted that it is normal in her Kardashian-Jenner family for exes to stay on good terms for their children’s sake.
“We’re doing a great job and I’m really grateful that we’re able to,” says Khloe. “I come from a family that, you know, my mom and my dad they would have dinner once a week. And my stepdad and my dad would play golf once a week together. So, I come from a family that… just because people aren’t together doesn’t mean you have to be rude or they’re out of your life.”
Khloe Kardashian’s famous sisters, Kourtney Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, both co-parent their children with their respective exes. Kourtney parents her three children, 10-year-old Mason, 8-year-old Penelope, and 5-year-old Reign, with her ex-boyfriend Scott Disick. Kylie Jenner co-parents her 2-year-old daughter Stormi with her ex, rapper Travis Scott.
Even their mother Kris Jenner and her ex-husband, attorney Robert Kardashian, co-parented their famed children: Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Rob Kardashian Jr., from their 1991 divorce until Robert’s 2003 death. “You share children with them and you want to kind of have this blended family,” says Khloe. “So, I’m just used to that. I’m sure it’s so weird to so many people.”
Khloe also added that Tristan Thompson has “been so helpful” and “amazing” during the coronavirus quarantine. “You know, when you can’t rely on so many other people’s help, it’s so great that you have like, essentially he’s your partner, he’s True’s dad. And I need his help more now.”
