Sherri Shepherd has a lot to celebrate these days. The actress recently took to Instagram to commemorate her oldest son Jeffrey Tarpley’s graduation from middle school.
“My son Jeffrey graduated from middle school and will be going into high school,” Sherri exclaimed in a social media post this past weekend. “His online #graduation lasted all of 10 minutes,” the celebrity mom mused. “As I watched on my computer (and cried) in the other room, I pray that Jeffrey’s future be (sic) filled with joy and purpose and a lot of love.”
It was just a few weeks ago that Sherri Shepherd expressed her frustrations about the new learning conditions that her son and dozens of other students in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) were forced to endure because of the coronavirus pandemic.
“I gotta deal with a teen who has a problem with me wearing leggings,” Sherri told her fans. “This boy is about to get put out,” the actress said. Jeffrey was unmoved by his mom’s fake tears. “You’ll be fine,” the teen said in response to Sherri’s act.
It is no secret that Shepherd’s son is well into the teen years and, thus, a bit on the moody side sometimes. Sherri talked about her “moody teenage son” in a candid Instagram post a few weeks ago. “I feel like my head is spinning,” the celebrity mom told her social media fans. “Everything seems a little off,” Shepherd added.
Jeffrey Tarpley is Sherri Shepherd’s oldest child. The celebrity mom has two kids in all. Stay tuned for more celebrity kids’ news!
