CIARA TEACHERS HER DAUGHTER TO SWIM

Now that summer is here and many are still on or have returned to stay-at-home orders, pool time is quickly becoming a coveted past time not only among the masses, but celebrities as well. And, despite the fact that Ciara has a baby-on-board, that didn’t stop her from teaching her three-year-old, Sienna, how to swim.

In a sweet Instagram post, Ciara captioned a video, “I taught my baby girl to swim and I’m sooo proud! She is too! Now both my babies can swim to me!”

Actress and mother of two Halle Berry commented, “What a beautiful moment!!”

In addition to celebrities, many of Ciara’s fans shared their love with the star, stating that she is a great mom, in addition to asking for lessons for themselves.

“Great mom!” one Instagram user commented.

“Can you teach me 😩?” another wrote.

If you are about to hit the water with your kids to get out of the house and enjoy some fresh air and sun, here are a few tips that will help you to do so safely.

  • Supervision is key. Make sure to supervise children in and around the pool. Make sure that they get your undivided attention.
  • If you are swimming with infants or toddlers, make sure that they are within an arms reach of you. Accidents can happen within a split second. Ensure that you can grab a hold quickly if need be.
  • Teach your children swimming safety. Make sure that they know how to tread water, float, and get closer to the ledge to grab on and stay safe.
  • Make sure that everyone who is of age takes a CPR class. This is not only a skill that will help around the pool, but will serve you and others for a lifetime.
