Gianna’s Instagram account expressed gratitude to Streisand for her generous gift over the weekend. “Thank You @barbrastreisand for my package,” Gianna’s account read. “I am now a Disney Stockholder thanks to you.”

Gianna Floyd was left fatherless after a Minneapolis police officer murdered him during a traffic stop last month. The 46-year-old father away after being held down by the officer’s knee for at least eight minutes. Protests nationwide have ensued following the tragic death of George Floyd to call for an end to police brutality and system racism at large.

Gianna shared what she loved most about her father during an interview with the press earlier this month. “He used to carry me on his back all the time,” the 6-year-old shared. “It was super fun. You’d be up in the sky, like an airplane,” Gianna added. “He loved me a lot.”
