Just call them “Beauty and Beauty.” Serena Williams and her daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., recently wore matching costumes based on Disney’s Beauty and The Beast that made the Internet look with pure adoration for their mother-daughter relationship.
“Princess attire required for conversations with @olympiaohanian,” Serena told her Instagram fans. The candid showed the tennis champion appearing in serious conversation with her daughter who seemed attentive to every word. “What a precious picture,” one social media follower shared. Another of Serena’s fans deemed the moment as “the sweetest thing.”
Serena Williams is an avid supporter of every Disney princess that has come across the big and small screen. “I try to buy all the Disney princess [costumes] that come in adult sizes,” the celebrity mom admitted during a recent interview with Reset Your Mindset by Yahoo!. “I have Moana, Cinderella … [ Snow White] … Anna from Frozen… I have Tiana — which I was disappointed, it was hard to find Tiana, but I finally got it. And anything else I could find,” Williams shared.
Serena is clearly a lover of princesses. Her daughter, however, kind of fell into love with them after being dressed in costumes to match her mom’s attire. “I think it’s me,” Serena said of her daughter’s obsession with Disney’s princess culture. “I’m the reason she loves princesses,” the celebrity mom admitted. “I’m not even sure she likes princesses,” Serena said.
Alexis Olympia is Serena Williams and husband Alexis Ohanian Sr.’s only child. Stay tuned for more celebrity mom news!
