TIA AND TAMERA MOWRY SPEAK ON RACISM: ‘AS PARENTS, WE HAVE THE RESPONSIBILITY TO TEACH’

Sisters Tia Mowry-Hardrict and Tamera Mowry-Housley are opening up about their experiences with racism in America. The actresses took to Instagram with their thoughts on the country’s current situation earlier this week.

“Yes. I’m grateful to see all these posts speaking of how black lives matter,” Tamera wrote online. “However, I pray it’s more than a black square or a post to you! It’s about our actions,” The Real co-host added.

“It’s about our daily actions,” Housley shared. “I believe prejudice/racism/ discrimination in some ways are taught,” the celebrity mom added. “It starts at home,” Tamera added.

Tia Mowry-Hardrict also commented on current social conditions. “My #goal is to see #change,” the Family Reunion star shared with her Instagram fans. “This year has been a tough year,” Tia admitted. “Several tears have been shed. However, a friend told me these tears will not be wasted. The #love and #support around the world has kept me going. A #change is gonna come.”

Tia Mowry-Hardrict has two kids, Cree and Cairo, with her husband, Cory Hardrict. Tamera Mowry-Hardrict also has two kids, Ariah and Aden, with her husband, Adam Housley. Stay tuned for more celebrity family news!
