“It’s amazing how I teach him all about life, and in return, he teaches me what life is all about,” Joyner Lucas said of his son. The candid the celebrity father uploaded showed him holding his son who took full advantage of his father’s embrace.

Joyner Lucas talks about his son often in his music. In fact, the celebrity father’s hit single, ‘Will,’ features Joyner’s little one as a young Jaden Smith in The Pursuit of Happyness. Lucas was sure to dress his son just like Jaden’s character in the film. The rapper also dressed like Will’s character in The Pursuit of Happyness. “I always told you my son looks like you when you was (sic) a kid, Jaden,” Joyner said during a recent appearance on Will Smith’s YouTube show, Will From Home.

Joyner Lucas told XXL in 2017 that talking about his son in music was rather cathartic after the relationship between him and his little one’s mother went sour. “For me not to feel the way that I felt towards my son’s mother, I needed to get that out,” the rapper shared. “I needed to let the world hear it,” he revealed.
