NBA star Steph Curry, his wife Ayesha and their three kids are enjoying their lockdown life and have the video evidence to prove it.
On May 21, Steph Curry gave his fans a closer look at how he and his family have been faring under their coronavirus lockdown with his YouTube vlog “The Curry Family in Quarantine – Lock In with Stephen Curry.” The video first begins with Curry thanking people who do their part to social distance and the first responders who battle the coronavirus on the front lines.
“Just wanna say thank you to everyone who’s staying safe at home and doing your part to stop the spread. This quarantine; I know it’s been challenging for everyone, especially for those who are on the front lines. We thank you so much but it’s now important more than ever to stay optimistic and, you know, find that silver lining,” said Curry. “I’ve been loving all this family time that I’ve been getting here at the household. Just want to give you guys a little sneak peek at what the Curry Quarantine has been like.”
The video then goes on to show plenty of sweet, fun-filled moments between Steph, Ayesha and their kids, 7-year-old Riley, 4-year-old Ryan and 1-year-old Canon Curry. In one scene, Steph pulled a prank on Ayesha and gave her a scare, laughing at her reaction. Another scene showed Riley and Ryan playing tee-ball and doing cartwheels as they ran back to home plate.
Steph Curry also showed off his singing skills with a segment called “Curry Karaoke,” where he sang about changing baby Canon’s diapers to the tune of “Weak” by SWV. “Diapees today and I go away, how the poop comes out/ But it stinks inside of you, but it’s got to get changed sometimes/ cause it’s nasty and it’s gonna stick all the time and I change and I change all day/ probably 6, 7, 8. I don’t know what just stinks all day,” sang Curry. He finished the last verse, singing, “Can’t explain what your diapee does to me.”
Steph Curry’s fans in the comments section enjoyed the video, praising him and his family for spreading positivity in a time where many people need it. Many of the fans commented with the popular Curry meme, “Look at Curry man, so inspirational.”
