As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, summer plans are more than likely on hold indefinitely. Yet, for families who rely on summer camps during their child’s time out o school, this can be a bit problematic. Well, here are five solutions to help kids stay engaged and entertained while at the same time making sure that their academics stay sharp and on point.

Children between the ages of two and eight-years-old can stay busy with fun and exciting educational activities all summer by using the PBS Kids’ website. You can get a daily newsletter that will keep you in the know, in addition to activities based on age-level topics.

STEM-based camps and activities are super important in making sure that children keep up with the careers of the future. Created by the National Center for Families Learning, this virtual camp does just that, encouraging children seven and older to explore their creativity through STEM and literacy-based activities.
