Storm Reid is many things-an amazing actress, a dedicated advocate, a true fashionista, and now, the 16-year-old Euphoria actress is a high school graduate!

“Wowwwwwww. Ya girl is done with high school. A month early. And I am graduating a WHOLE YEAR early. This is not how I envisioned celebrating this milestone, but I’m still immensely proud of myself,” Reid commented on a recent Instagram post. “Thank you to my amazing family, friends, and loved ones who helped me get this far. More celebrations and pictures to come (including my actual graduation), but I just wanted to let y’all know I’M DONE, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds. Onward. ✨🥺🎓 #ClassOf2020”

In addition to well-wishes from her fans, some of her co-stars took a moment to celebrate her defining moment as well.

“So proud of you baby sissy😍😍😍💖💖,” Zendaya commented on the post.

“Oh Storm!!! You are such a brilliant, talented young woman ! Congrats on this major accomplishment ✨🎓,” Reese Witherspoon, who co-starred with Reid in A Wrinkle In Time said on the post.

If you remember, Reid made her film debut in 12 Years a Slave in 2013. Since then she has starred in Sleight, A Wrinkle in Time, Don’t Let Go, The Invisible Man, When They See Us, and she will play opposite Idris Elba, as his daughter in the upcoming 2021 movie, The Suicide Squad 2.

As Covid-19 has put a damper on celebrations for many high school and college graduates, young people are finding ways to celebrate in spite of the circumstances, proving that the class of 2020 is as resilient and adaptive as they come. Several virtual graduations have been held to wish these young people the best of luck with key note addresses from famous faces such as former President Barack Obama, former First Lady Michelle Obama, Lebron James, among others.
