Kandi Burruss did not let the coronavirus pandemic keep her from having a good time. The Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) star held a “Mask On” party in honor of her forty-fourth birthday earlier this week.
The theme of the party matched current social conditions. Guests were not admitted to the bash without wearing a mask, which served to guard against the spread of coronavirus. Even little Ace Wells Tucker wore a mask while celebrating his mom’s birthday.
Some critics scrutinized Kandi Burruss for holding a party in the middle of a pandemic that has changed every facet of life. Others praised the RHOA star for her creativity.
“Baby Momma,” Shamea Morton wrote online. “It’s your birthday! @kandi you’ve always been the most down to earth, supportive, sweetest, about your money, loyal, hardworking, family-oriented and reliable people I know. Oh, and you Def have hyperthymesia (google it) bc you don’t forget sh*t! I love you and I appreciate your inclusive nature.”
Kandi’s husband, Todd Tucker, also took to Instagram to celebrate the RHOA star. “I was so busy living life, I didn’t wish my wife a Happy Bday on social media,” the celebrity father said. “You know if you didn’t do it on social media it didn’t happen,” Todd mused. “Happy Bday @kandi. I love you to infinity and beyond (Buzz Lightyear Voice) let’s grow old together!”
Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker lead a blended family that includes three daughters – Kaela Tucker, Riley Burruss, and Blaze Tucker – and one son, Ace Wells Tucker. Kandi’s daughter, Riley, may soon join her half-sister, Kaela, in New York when she begins her life as a college student at New York University (NYU).
