Stevie Wonder celebrated his seventieth birthday with his son, Mandla Morris, who also shares the same birthdate. The celebrity father and his son were surrounded by family members and friends on Tuesday (March 13) in what was a private yet lively gathering.
Stevie Wonder did not let the occasion end without playing a note on the piano and singing a tune. The legendary singer’s family listened intently as the sounds filled the home. “Happy birthday, dad,” Mandla wrote to his father on Tuesday. “I love you with my whole heart,” the teen said.
Mandla Morris celebrated his fifteenth birthday alongside his father. Many were unaware that Stevie Wonder shared a birthdate with one of his kids. “Do y’all have the same birthday,” one fan asked after reading Mandla’s birthday shoutout to his father. Another Instagram subscriber replied by telling the inquisitive fan, “Yes, they do.”
Some may remember Mandla Morris from Dancing With The Stars: Juniors. The youngster danced alongside up-and-coming choreographer Brightyn Brems.
One of the most memorable routines that Brightyn and Mandla delivered was based on Stevie Wonder’s ‘Isn’t She Lovely?’ The presentation was nothing short of spectacular as the junior dancers delivered every move with precision. Of course, Stevie Wonder was there to support his son with a live performance of his classic single.
Mandla Morris is one of six children that Stevie Wonder fathers. Stay tuned for more celebrity dad news!
