Usher is leaning on his kids, Naviyd and Usher V, during this quarantine season. The celebrity father recently let his sons give him a haircut, a.k.a. #DadCut, which rendered pleasantly surprising results.
Many who would ordinarily go to the salon or barbershop for grooming have been forced to adopt do-it-yourself (DIY) remedies that sometimes include family members cutting and styling their hair. Usher’s sons joined the group of seemingly amateur at-home barbers this past weekend.
Naviyd and Usher V’s professional experience may be limited, but the boys appeared to be anything but absolute beginners in the field. Naviyd prepared his father for the haircut by brushing intently. It was only after everything was brushed out that Usher V went in with the clippers.
“They both did a good job,” one BCK Instagram fan said after watching the clip. “I can’t believe his kiss are that big already,” another social media follower noted. Usher V and Naviyd have gotten big, haven’t they?
It seems like just yesterday that Usher was holding his sons’ hands while walking into a venue. Now, Naviyd and Usher V are giving their dad haircuts!
Usher shared the joy of fatherhood during a 2014 interview. “I’m a dad, first and foremost,” the celebrity father said when asked about his most prized accomplishment in life. “Of course, I have to travel and make a living, but my sons are my priority,” Usher added. “I never knew I could be so happy just hanging out with them,” the celebrity father said. “I was born for this.”
