Halle Berry’s kids, Nahla Aubry and Maceo Martinez, are having loads of fun at home. The celebrity’s kids and their mom put on a funny skit ahead of Halle’s interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
“Hi everybody,” Halle began the segment. “So I’m about to go live on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. And everybody in my house is super excited about it.”

Halle attempted to show just how excited her kids and two dogs were about the appearance. Few family members, however, appeared genuinely thrilled.
Maceo certainly appeared excited for his mom as he ran around the backyard while screaming, “I want to be on Fallon! I want to be on Fallon!” Nahla, on the other hand, was not as impressed. “I don’t care,” the 12-year-old said. “I really don’t,” Nahla added.
In the end, Halle Berry concluded that, perhaps, she was the only one who was overjoyed about her interview with Jimmy Fallon. Nevertheless, the show went on!

During her interview segment with Fallon, Halle Berry shared the story behind Nahla’s bald spot in the back of her head. The tween was trying to exercise her independence by telling her mom that she did not need help with brushing her hair. Things went South with Nahla’s quest to tame her mane along the way, though, and she ultimately returned to her mom for help.
“We’re doing her homework the other night and [Nahla] goes, ‘Mom, I’m scared to tell you this, but touch the back of my head,'” Halle Berry shared with Jimmy Fallon. “All her hair, which is past her shoulders, has shrunken up into a tight ball that feels like matted fur,” the actress recalled. “I can’t even get my finger in it, and I’m pulling and she’s screaming.”
Berry tried to remain calm while helping her daughter. She even carried out the idea of using a conditioner with water in the hope of saving her daughter’s hair. In the end, though, Halle was forced to “shave it off.”
“She was not cool with that, but it was our only option,” the actress shared. “But now she gets it,” Berry told Fallon. “I was like, ‘First of all, maybe you’ll let your mother help you. And second of all, you learned you gotta brush your hair. Every day, you gotta brush your hair.'”
