Mariah Carey and her kids are “staying home and keeping positive” in the midst of the Coronavirus, (COVID-19), pandemic.
On Friday, the singer took to Instagram to share a photo of her and her twins holding up a sign with the message ,”I #stayhomefor my loved ones, health care workers and the entire world.”
Mariah Carey and her kids are not the only celebrities that are encouraging people to stay at home. The challenge was started by Kevin Bacon in a video message from his own self-quarantine.
Bacon held up a sign that read, “#IStayHomeFor Kyra Sedgwick”, his wife of 31 years. Then the Footloose star tagged six of his celebrity friends—Elton John, David Beckham, Jimmy Fallon, Kevin Hart, Demi Lovato, and Brandi Carlile—asking them all to join in on the quarantine fun by sharing who they’re staying home for, and by tagging six of their friends to keep the challenge going. And going it has!
Mariah Carey and kids got in on the action after being tagged by Stranger Things star Millie Bobbie Brown.

Celebrities worldwide are encouraging people through social media to stay home to protect each other. According to the John Hopkins University of Medicine Coronavirus Tracker, to date, 284,566 individuals have been confirmed worldwide to have the virus, of those, 11, 868 individuals have died. Social distancing and simply staying at home will help save lives and hopefully bring this pandemic to an end sooner rather than later. Remember to keep up-to-date regarding what is going on in your area. Stay safe, stay connected, and wash your hands regularly. You do not have to be a celebrity to get in on the action. Let us know who you are staying home for. Use your own social media to platforms to keep the challenge going, we want to hear from you!
