Malika Haqq is having the best week ever! The new mom took to Instagram earlier today to share an adorable photo of her newborn with the caption, “Best week of my life.”
Malika and her ex-boyfriend, O.T. Genasis, welcomed their bundle of joy, Ace Flores, on Saturday (March 14).
“Ace Flores 3.14.2020,” Malika shared with her Instagram fans on Monday (March 16). “I can’t wait to meet him,” Keeping Up With The Kardashians (KUWTK) star Kylie Jenner said in response to seeing a candid of Malika and O.T. holding their son’s hand. “Congrats, babe,” Larsa Pippen said.
Malika Haqq announced her expectancy of a child last September. “I have always wanted to be a mother and it’s still a little bit surprising but I’m overjoyed,” Haqq told PEOPLE exclusively after sharing the excitement of her pregnancy with the world. “I’m a very emotional person anyway, but this is another heightening of emotion,” the model added. “I feel really good about where I am in my life being pregnant now,” Malika said.
Some fans correctly assumed that the father of Malika Haqq’s child was O.T. Genasis before she decided to share her son’s paternity. A few of those who deemed O.T. as the child’s father also assumed that Ace’s parents would get back together on account of his expectancy. Malika assured fans that she and O.T. had an excellent relationship as then-soon-to-be parents. The romantic aspect of the union, however, was no longer a factor, according to Haqq.
Ace Flores is Malika Haqq’s first child and O.T’s second.
