Usain Bolt is going to be a girl dad! The Olympian and his longtime girlfriend, Kasi Bennett, enjoyed a gender reveal party earlier this month. Usain and Kasi are officially preparing for a baby girl to arrive in the coming weeks.
“Yo, I just did the reveal and I’m a girl dad,” Usain told his fans after the festivities convened. The father-to-be went on to jokingly threaten future suitors by writing, “Any man! Any boy! Don’t play with me!”
Usain Bolt and Kasi Bennett spread the word about their expectancy in January. “I just want to say a KING or QUEEN is about to be HERE,” Kasi shared with her Instagram fans. The mom-to-be also wrote, “Our biggest blessing. Our greatest celebration,” Bennett continued. “Our golden child,” she added. “Coming soon.”
Usain Bolt is recognized as one of the fastest runners in the world. At one point, the Olympian held the record as the fastest sprinter. Bolt retired from his life as a professional athlete in 2017. The celebrity still enjoys the thrill of competing as a runner, though.
“I definitely do miss the competition,” Usain revealed during an interview with The New York Times last year. “But I don’t miss the training,” he admitted. “I stay busy,” Bolt said when asked about his life after retirement. “You see my work with Gatorade,” the retired athlete added.
I work with my sponsors,” Usain continued. “So that’s my focus right now. I’m trying to do different businesses. A school is opening that we are working in,” Bolt shared.
