It’s the children’s book we’ve waited for! Gabrielle Union has written an illustrated book for the whole family called Welcome To The Party. The actress’ daughter, Kaavia James Union Wade, is the inspiration behind the story.
Gabrielle’s new children’s book is a love letter written from parents to their kids. The text is meant to bring even more life to the celebration of life that comes with a family’s expansion. Gabrielle Union and her husband, Dwyane Wade, directly identify with such happiness, which is why the veteran actress decided to write her new children’s book.
“I’m so excited to be releasing my first children’s book,” Union recently shared in a statement regarding Welcome To The Party. “Since the birth of my daughter … I’ve been even more inspired to create stories that are not only representative of the cultural melting pot we live in, but also celebrate life and the fun, teachable lessons that come at every age,” the celebrity mom said.
