Kenya Moore wants her critics to know that her baby, Brooklyn Daly, is her “karma.” The Reality TV star took to her Instagram page on Monday (March 2) to respond to the backlash that came after Sunday’s episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA).

In the episode, Kenya and her husband, Marc Daly, appear to be at odds with each other in the days leading up to his charity event. Marc appears unappreciative of the hard work that Kenya has put into making his event a success. Meanwhile, Kenya appears unable to set aside her differences with some of the women in the group for the sake of charity.

There is even a segment where the RHOA star talks about Marlo Hampton for bringing her nephews to the event and then threatening to leave when Kenya sent her to the back of the room with her two guests. Marc tells Kenya that he loves the idea of Marlo bringing her nephews since the event is about African-American men mentoring African-American boys. Kenya expresses a desire for more support from her husband with the producers filming the interview segment. “Take my side,” the RHOA star says.

The episode reaches its climax when Marc is overheard telling a guest that he hates the twists and turns that marriage brings. “I hate it,” Daly says. “Everyone who knows me knows that I hate it,” he adds.
Kenya, who does not hear her husband’s comment, expresses her disappointment in the evening because of the love that the other couples are exhibiting. She tells the production staff that she and Marc were once a happy couple during her interview segment.
Last night’s episode ended with an editorial announcement that revealed Marc and Kenya’s decision to separate the day after his charity event. Some critics celebrated the apparent demise of Kenya’s marriage by saying that such was the universe repaying the celebrity for the bad energy that she has given over the years.

Kenya responded to her haters with a subtle reality check. The RHOA star shared a picture of her with baby Brooklyn along with a caption that said, “This is my karma.” Cynthia Bailey supported her friend by writing, “God makes no mistakes. What a blessing.”
Brooklyn Daly is Kenya Moore and Marc Daly’s only child together.
