Kenya Moore is not giving up on her family. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star tells ET Online that a successful marriage is at the top of her vision board.
“If I had a vision board, I would say successful marriage, lots of love, Brooklyn happy [and] healthy [and] thriving,” Moore reveals. “I would [also] say expanding businesses, and fun.”
Kenya Moore and her husband, Marc Daly, announced their separation and plans to divorce last year. The news came as a shock to many since Kenya and Marc were featured on The Tamron Hall Show just days before the big announcement came.
“He made an announcement, and that was the end of the story,” Kenya said of Marc’s decision to share his plans for divorce with the public. Kenya’s husband did not discuss the notion of separation with her but instead made what was a fight into something bigger. “Now, I think we’re just friends again and talking a lot more, respectful of each other, and putting Brooklyn first,” Kenya says.
The RHOA star admits that she and her husband were experiencing their share of marriage squabbles before Marc’s shocking announcement. “Once the baby came, the stress of life just really kind of made our relationship deteriorate, and we couldn’t find our way back to it,” Kenya explains.
“But, all in all, I still think that a rash decision was made,” she adds. “How I have been coping with it is just being the strong person that I know to be. I sort of compartmentalize things in my life, and I don’t let anything destroy me.”
Kenya Moore is focused on repairing her marriage with Marc Daly and, hopefully, having another child. “I would just really like to see [Brooklyn] with a playmate growing up,” the RHOA star tells ET. “I think she would be a great big sister to someone.”
