Erica Dixon has a reason for refusing to vaccinate her twins. The celebrity mom delves into the subject in an exclusive talk with TheJasmineBrand.com.
“I really didn’t know it was [such] a controversial subject,” Erica says. “To each it’s own but mine won’t be vaccinated. And for those saying negative and disrespectful things – [it’s] hilarious. My children would be nowhere near them or their’s anyway.”
Erica Dixon told her fans that she chose not to vaccinate her twins last year, and the Internet all but lost it. Some accused the celebrity mom of child abuse, while others told Erica to keep all of her children away from the public.
“Everyone is free to form their own decision when it comes to their children,” Dixon says in response to the backlash she has received since publicly declaring her twins as vaccinated-free. “We have to learn to agree to disagree without being disrespectful,” she adds. “Especially those that wish death on my children because they aren’t vaccinated.”

“I would never wish death on anyone’s child – vaccinated or not. Then again, the internet gives a lot of people heart because they wouldn’t dare say half of what that say via social media to my face.”
Erica Dixon did not always have a strong opinion about vaccinations. After all, she and her oldest daughter, Emani Richardson, were vaccinated when they were babies. The father of Erica’s twin daughters, however, lives a more organic lifestyle and, thus, would prefer his children steer clear of the Western medicine practice of vaccination.

“The twins’ father is vegan,” Erica reveals to TheJasmineBrand.com. “He definitely is against the twins getting vaccinated,” she adds. “I went vegan prior to my pregnancy and throughout as well,” Dixon further explains.
“I did some research and asked questions as they saw their pediatrician. My research consisted of reading about both vaccinated and unvaccinated children, [and] how it would affect them when it came to daycare and school, side effects, risks etc.”
