On an episode of “Red Table Talk,” Ciara opened up about how great of a father Wilson is to her son. The NFL player came into her life just 10 months after the little tyke was born and “jumped right in” and was “changing diapers.”

“He was so proud of, like, Future’s first steps,” Ciara said. “When I go to teacher-parent conferences, he’s at every one of them with me, and I make sure I schedule it so he can be there. His schedule’s crazy, but we make it happen, because those details matter.”

She added that “whenever he would think of me he would always think of my son and to love me is to love my son, we come together. It’s a different level of love.”

The singer had baby Future from a previous relationship with rapper Future (real name Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn). She later married Wilson in 2016 and welcomed daughter Sienna Princess, born on April 28, 2017.

“It has been a very special journey with my husband and I because we are a blended family,” Ciara shared with the ladies of Red Table Talk. “It does take time,” the celebrity mom admitted.

“I don’t think that people really think about the child when they like to make chatter about the kids,” Ciara further explained. “Everyone likes to weigh in on opinions. Adults, we’ll be fine. The child is a person who has to read stuff. They have to see stuff. As far as the real life part of it, versus the celebrity part, I think the biggest thing is always trying our best just, like, love life as much as we can as normal as possible.”
