Is there more to Cam Newton and Kia Proctor’s breakup than what meets the eye? Some people believe so! The NFL player allegedly welcomed a child with Instagram model La Reina Shaw.
The social media influencer reportedly gave birth to her and Cam’s child last summer, which is around the same time that Cam Newton and Kia Proctor ended their longtime relationship. Cam recently filed court documents, in which he demanded DNA tests for his kids with Kia.
The former couple’s youngest child, Cashmere Newton, was reportedly born after Kia moved out of the family home, which raised more concerns for Cam. It ultimately appears that Kia Proctor and La Reina Shaw were pregnant at the same time, though, if the Instagram model indeed gave birth to Cam’s child.
Cam Newton told the press that becoming a parent has helped him overcome much in life. “I realize that I have an obedience to be there for my children and teach them life lessons,” the celebrity father shared with the press. “And what better way to teach them life lessons when you’re actually going through certain situations that mean a lot to you and things don’t go your way?”
