It has been said that a mother’s love is the purest love on earth. This is especially true for rapper Cardi B and her 1-year-old daughter Kulture, as Cardi B recently posted a sweet Instagram video of her daughter giving her an adorable little kiss.

Despite her successful rap career, Cardi B puts her responsibility as a mother first and foremost; not only does she post photos and videos of Kulture on Instagram almost constantly, she is finding it more difficult to travel without her daughter. “Flying is hard on Kulture, so if I go to a place and I’m not going to stay more than five days, I’m not bringing her. But now that’s getting harder, because she’s sleeping on my chest and she doesn’t want to let me go, or she sees you on FaceTime and she’s crying. It’s kind of like a friendship now, and it’s hard to leave your little friend.”
Though traveling and other aspects of her life have become more difficult since becoming a mother, Cardi B still loves being a parent, saying that when she is with Kulture, she forgets about everything else. “Being a mom — how can I say it? Things are a little bit harder to balance, but it’s good for the mental. Like, if I’m playing with my daughter, I forget about the issues.”
A former stripper and reality television star, Cardi B made her rap debut in 2017 and since then, she has risen to become one of the most popular entertainers of the decade (2010-2019). Cardi B’s 2018 debut studio album “Invasion of Privacy” earned her a Grammy award for Best Rap Album in 2019 and is the most-streamed female rap album of all time on Spotify, with over 2.8 billion streams. Cardi B recently celebrated the achievement and teased her next album with an Instagram post captioned: “Ya ready for my second album?”
