Drake was certainly not hiding his son, Adonis Graham, from the world. The rapper was trying to make sure that he actually fathered a son before telling his fans that he was a dad. Drake gives insight into his dilemma during his recent interview with Rap Radar.
“To be honest with you, I did a DNA test for my son and it came back to us and it said the DNA test got ruined in transit and they couldn’t be 100 percent sure that that was my son or not,” Drake says. “So, I was in a really weird pending situation where I didn’t want to go tell the world that that was my son and it wasn’t.”
The masses learned of Drake possibly fathering a son after rival rapper Pusha T released his single, ‘The Story of Adidon,’ last year. In the song, Pusha puts Drake on blast for allegedly failing to care for his son. Drake, however, released a single of his own, which refuted such an accusation. In his song, Drake reveals that he was not hiding anything.

The fallout from Pusha T’s record is still felt. Drake, however, is not sweating the small stuff. “I sleep well at night knowing I didn’t get out-barred,” the rapper shares with Rap Radar. “It was just, you know, he told the world that the biggest artist at the time has a kid that he hasn’t told you about,” Drake explains. “I knew, for me, it was over at that point. It wasn’t even about battle rap.”
Adonis is Drake’s only child. Stay tuned for more celebrity father news!
