BEYONCE OPENS UP ABOUT BLUE IVY AND THE TWINS IN NEW ‘ELLE’ INTERVIEW: ‘SUCCESS LOOKS DIFFERENT NOW’

"I Think The Most Stressful Thing For Me Is Balancing Work And Life"

Beyonce is sharing a few of her secrets to success in her latest interview with ELLE.

The celebrity mom does not deny the notion of the balance between work and home life being a challenge. “I think the most stressful thing for me is balancing work and life,” Beyonce admits.

“Making sure I am present for my kids – dropping Blue off at school, taking Rumi and Sir to their activities, making time for date nights with my husband, and being home in time to have dinner with my family – all while running a company can be challenging. Juggling all of those roles can be stressful, but I think that’s life for any working mom.”

In addition to being a force in the music industry, Beyonce runs her clothing company, Ivy Park. The ‘Single Ladies’ singer took her apparel business to the next level with a partnership with Addidas a few months back. Beyonce managed to secure such a business deal while also working on Disney’s The Lion King (2019) and bringing her vision for Homecoming (2019), a Netflix documentary by Beyonce, to life.

“I began to search for deeper meaning when life began to teach me lessons I didn’t know I needed,” Bey says. “Success looks different to me now,” she explains. “I learned that all pain and loss is, in fact, a gift. Having miscarriages taught me that I had to mother myself before I could be a mother to someone else.”

“Then I had Blue, and the quest for my purpose became so much deeper,” Bey continues. “I died and was reborn in my relationship, and the quest for self became even stronger. It’s difficult for me to go backward. Being ‘number one’ was no longer my priority. My true win is creating art and a legacy that will live far beyond me. That’s fulfilling.”

What is most fulfilling in Beyonce’s life? “Being Blue, Rumi, and Sir’s mom,” the celebrity mom says. Stay tuned for more Beyonce family news!
