How is life at home for Eva Marcille now that she is the mother of three children? Well, different. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star recently shared how her newborn, Maverick Sterling, is adjusting to his new environment.
“I was warned that life changes drastically at three kids. But I don’t think I really read the fine print because life really does change at three [kids],” Eva shared during a recent talk with her Dish Nation co-hosts. “My daughter is five-and-a-half [years old]. She’s almost six. My son is one-and-a-half [years old]. He can move. He can feed himself. He can hold his own bottle. But now we have a new baby who can do absolutely nothing for himself.”
Eva Marcille went on to tell her co-workers that she wished her son slept through the night. “In the daytime, he’s sleep. He’s gone,” The RHOA star shared. “I put on a record … he sleeps through everything,” Eva added. “But at about 12:15 AM, every morning, his eyes pop open. He feeds like crazy, and he’s just up. He does not want to go to sleep.”
Maverick is learning about everything while his older siblings, Marley and Michael Jr., are adjusting to having a new baby in the house.
“The adjustment from kids when it comes to bringing a new baby in the house [is real],” Eva shared with her Dish Nation co-hosts. “No matter how old they are, they all go through their thing. [With] Marley, I’m noticing I have to take time and just do specific Marley Days with her. The time that I spend with the other two kids who need me a little bit more physically, the older kid is like, ‘Yo, where’s my time?’ So I’m trying to figure out how to balance all of the kids in their expectations.”
In all, Marley Rae is adjusting quite well to her life as the oldest. Michael, on the other hand, is still getting used to things.
“The other day, he was running with Marley’s pencil,” Eva said. “And I said, ‘Oh no, no, no, no, no! Mike, you can’t have a pencil. You can only have Crayons. Babies use Crayons.’ And he pointed at the new baby like, ‘Well, that’s the baby. I’m not the baby anymore.’ He’s J. Cole. He’s the middle child, now.”
