Flavor Flav may be the father of eight kids. A new paternity suit, filed by Kate Gammell, names Flavor as the father of her two-month-old child.
The Blast reports,
“A paternity case has been filed naming Flavor Flav as the father of a newborn baby boy, and the woman who filed it is a member of his management team
According to legal documents filed in LA County Courts, Kate Gammell claims Flav is the father of her beautiful 2-month baby boy, Jordan.”
Gammell, who is a member of Flavor Flav’s management team, wants to establish paternity for her son as well as get the process of child support started. Jordan, if indeed Flavor Flav’s child, would join his older siblings in the family.
It was just a few weeks ago that fans saw Flavor Flav interact with his older children on Growing Up Hip Hop: New York. The celebrity father appeared excited to see his daughter take on a leadership role in managing her brother’s budding career as a recording artist. Flavor, however, was unable to help his kids by serving as a guest artist on his son’s upcoming record.
“I’m like stuck in between a rock and a hard place right now,” Flavor told his kids. “I’ve got some important meetings that I’ve got to tend to,” the celebrity father added. “I can’t,” Flav concluded when pressed with the notion of making time to be on his son’s track.
Some fans slammed Flavor Flav for turning down the opportunity to be a part of his son’s budding career. A few critics even told the celebrity dad that his decision to put business over family was an attempt to shriek responsibility. “Be a father,” one angry social media follower said.
