Over the weekend, K. Michelle celebrated her son’s 16th birthday by gifting him with a Benz truck. On Sunday, the singer took to her Instagram to share a heartfelt message about her teenager.
“Yesterday I celebrated the birth of my son. The reason why I fight so hard everyday. You have truly made me a better person. I hope you know that I love you to the moon and back. There is nothing in this world I wouldn’t do for you just to see you smile and know that you’re happy. I hope you and your friends live it up in your new Benz truck. SAFELY. But first you gotta learn how to drive sir. I love my Chase. Happy Birthday baby.”
K. Michelle has been open about wanting more children, specifically twin girls. In a recent interview with V-103’s Morning Culture, the songstress shared that she doesn’t want to raise another son.
“I don’t wanna raise another one! I’m struggling!” she exclaimed. “He took off with a white girl and as pro-Black as we are, I get a phone call from my momma like, ‘Chase said he could go on this date with some white girl.’ I said, ‘Okay, okay, we got unity. It’s all good. But I didn’t tell him he could go anywhere! But he ran out the house, went there, went on his date. You know, I’m just trying to tell him, ‘Wrap it up.’ You know, ‘You a Black person. A Black male. You my son, but out there, you a Black male. They don’t care nothin’ about you!’ It’s hard to raise a man! It really is hard because I see a lot of women fail their sons – ’cause I dated them! So I don’t want nobody to look at me and say, ‘Who raised that boy?’”
Also during the interview, the Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star revealed that her surrogacy plans are coming together as planned and that she is about to have “some babies put in”.
