Coco Austin is still breastfeeding her and Ice T’s daughter, Chanel Nicole, who is almost 4-years-old. The celebrity mom shared pictures of her nursing her toddler a few days ago.
“A mother’s calling,” Coco told her social media fans. “I’m so blessed to have this unbelievable experience in this thing called nursing,” the celebrity mom shared. “I had a hard time breastfeeding the first week of when Chanel was born,” Austin explained. “I almost gave up but my family told me to hang for another week. They told me I don’t want to miss this special moment you have with your child health-wise and bond-wise. I hung in there and now almost four years later Chanel still wants the boob.”
Coco Austin calmed the fears of those who would accuse her of starving her daughter by only giving Chanel Nicole breastmilk at 3-years-old. “It’s more of a comfort thing now,” the celebrity mom wrote. “Of course she eats regular [food],” Austin assured. The star mom went on to tell her fans, “Naptime and night time are our time and I’m lucky she hasn’t grown out it yet because when that moment comes I will be so sad. It’s the best feeling and ALL mothers that nurse know.”
There were a few mothers on Coco Austin’s Instagram page who could affirm what the celebrity mom was saying. “I nursed all four of my sons,” one fan replied. “[I nursed] my first and my third [son] for three years and my second and fourth weened themselves after a year. My first and third never get sick. It’s from nursing them for so long. Nothing can compare to mothers milk.”
Another fan was curious as to how Coco Austin has been able to maintain breastmilk nearly four years after giving birth to her daughter. “How do you keep producing,” the social media follower asked. “I hope I’m able to breastfeed for a long time as well.”
Chanel Nicole is Coco Austin and Ice T’s only child. Ice T also has an adult son and daughter from previous relations. Stay tuned for more celebrity baby news!
