Anyone who has been keeping up with America’s Got Talent knows that Tyler Butler Figueroa has the “it” factor. The 11-year-old was sent through to the semi-finals after an audition that got Simon Cowell on his feet. Those who remember the early days of American Idol know that it is pretty hard to move Simon. One look at Tyler’s performance on the show during last night’s episode, however, may help you understand why this kid, who is also a cancer survivor, had everyone rooting for him.

Tyler took to the stage to play Beyonce and Destiny’s Child ‘Survivor’ on his violin. The performance was absolutely flawless and appeared almost effortless as the young musician played all the right notes at the right time.
Tyler’s performance, unfortunately, was not enough for him to take all as the winner of Season 14 of America’s Got Talent. The tween did, however, gain loads of experience during his journey on the show.
“My journey on AGT has ended,” Tyler told his Twitter fans on Wednesday night after the show’s results were revealed. “Anyone that really knows me, knows that I am going to keep reaching,” Tyler shared. “I have been a winner for a while now and AGT was a platform for me to show my talent to the world and I have accomplished that. Look for me on a stage near you.”
