Jaden Smith and Willow Smith are unique beings who do not mind sharing their perceptions about life. The young stars delve into what they think about life and the state of the world in the recent issue of Mastermind magazine.
“Whenever I need to get grounded, I always go to nature,” Willow Smith says of her serenity. “We all have a responsibility to have a positive impact on this earth,” Jaden Smith adds.
Willow shared her battles with anxiety during a recent conversation on Red Table Talk. “Recently I have been, like, I just get really frustrated and I just feel like there is so much energy,” Willow told her mom, Jada Pinkett-Smith, when asked about her remedies for handling anxiety. “I get frustrated and then in my head, I feel manic,” the young star added.
Willow’s solution was to start doing push-ups to release the tension she felt inside. The young adult learned the hard way that holding too much energy is not always a good thing.
It was during a recent interview with PEOPLE that Willow talked about her darkest times as a child recording artist. “I was super young, and I had a dream, but all I really wanted to do was sing and I didn’t equate that with all the business and the stress that ended up coming with it,” the young star shared. “I was just like, ‘Whoa, this is not the life that I want.'”
Through the years, Willow has discovered the life that she wants and has a lot of support from her parents to help her reach her goals. “The support and compassion that they pour into me always inspires me to preserve through dark times,” Willow tells Mastermind.
