Kaavia James Union Wade, a.k.a. Shady Baby, has said her first word and, no, it was not “Dada.” Gabrielle shared the cute clip with her Instagram fans earlier this week.
In the video, Gabrielle asks Kaavia if she could say, “Bye-bye.” The little one pauses for a brief moment to determine if she can indeed repeat what her mom said. “Bye-bye,” the little one said. More than one million fans loved the milestone that Gabrielle captured.
“I’m so in love with her,” one fan exclaimed. “She’s so pretty,” the Instagram follower added. Another of Gabrielle’s fans wrote, “Sweet Kaavia, swimming, talking, doing some modeling and yoga all before you turn 1, mama and papa sent good genes your way.”
Gabrielle delved into why she believed her daughter’s first word was a greeting during an interview earlier this week. “She’s very much her own person,” Union shared. “We say ‘Hi’ and ‘Hey’ so she kinda gets that, she says that pretty okay. But when we leave her, we say ‘Bye-bye,’ and that’s what stuck. And that’s what is super clear. She’s very articulate with the ‘Bye-bye.'”
